Mellow aroma on this - you get a hint of sweet like syrup along with some wood and a touch of dry smoke. Very smooth taste, lots of body and richness with a lot of subtle flavors getting your attention. Some floral notes along with some honey and some spice. A bit of smoke and tobacco as well. I do wish it had a bit more oomph though. Not something I am likely to buy a bottle of for myself. It's good and interesting, no question, but for the price point I'd want something that I personally enjoyed more. If I wanted to start a Scotch collection, it would be one to get. Rated 4.0/5.0
