This evening I'm trying SIA Blended Scotch Whisky, coming in at 43% ABV
The nose is floral with citrus coming through, along with some alcohol that is hard to get past. On the taste, we have burnt sugar along with the citrus, with a touch of nutty flavor on the finish. Adding water doesn't change things to me. This is a blend of Speyside, Highland and a touch of Islay, but not I'm finding any smoke or peat.
SIA sells for under $50, but I'd likely buy something else before this. Rated 2.75 / 5.0
