This bottle was hanging on, so I figured it was time to finish it. On the nose, there is cinnamon, rye spice, some fresh bread notes - going back to it I find a touch of dill too. The taste is similar - lots of cinnamon, some oak, rye spice and a bit of proof punch, but surprisingly easy to drink. The finish has a touch of mint, cinnamon heat with some tingle, wood in the back. Considering the price, the finish is the biggest surprise, it doesn't let you down.
Adding water tames the nose a bit, and the taste is more sweet with some cherry syrup coming in. I probably prefer this one neat, but I bet this would do fine over ice or in a cocktail. Overall, I give this one a 3.5/5.0 - it's good, and it's really good considering the price. This bottle is empty, but I think I'll pick up another one at some time. Cheers!
